Hello im Michael study Contemporary media pratice level 5 and chose sound art pathway crouse in Transmedia moduel ,produce music and playing guitar and keybord is my hobby and i still learning and pratcing in my study life , this year i concentrate on film sound art and soundtack for animation , there are diversity of sound that i recoard from different places and gathering in my library forder .As my perceiving making music or whatever really need follow the heart. This blog going to share the progress of soundtrack that i made for Robin animation ( girl interview subject in our video ) our video like fairy tale narrtive a story of parrots , parrots are the theme of this storytelling interviews , the whole video is playful and active perfomance between a girl and a man , There are totally 4 soundtracks for matching each animation . Now let me show you one by one .
This is first time i using wordpress to post blog and just awreness of any author uploading audio file need upgrade permium plan and pay for at least 4 $ ,so i combined all the aimations that Liz made with the music that i made to make it better for you to feel the perfect effect of visual and auitory cooperation in this work .Honestly i making sound track after watch animations continuously then brainstorming and keep imagine store related on script , guarantee all music for this viedo is joy and playful also simplify ，from the script the birds is flying to warm nest ，so i picked one forest ambient sound as backgroud sound and two wind sound , one of it needs to be emphasized , soundtrack have to be match with animation , in this instace the example is owner and shadow , chooes piano to be the major instrument is the perfect chocie because sound crisp and clean , so i plaing one MINI keybord and record it with trying different chords over and over agian . Add bells it help for dynamic , vilion is for make the music richer and more saturated .
This is the piano as the main melody, supplemented by the violin, in order to highlight more active and excited, added a voice sound effect, this inspiration came from a music I overheard.
This one i choosing guitar plug in interface and plaing abit then loop , add kick sound effects and in the end i using mini keyboard playing chicago trumpet with jazz style .
